hiya, trust you’re having a good week.
It’s been quiet here since Sunday, but what a great day that was! It was so good to be with the children in the morning and Comedians and Carols was just marvellous. I’m told we will likely be seeing Laura Lexx on the small screen next year, deservedly so – she was brilliant.
Plans for the community carols in the car park at 5pm are forging ahead. Thank you to everyone who has offered to do something wonderful for this. We have a few dozen christingles, promises of lots of eatables, plans for hot chocolate and mulled punch, a few activities and of course carols and readings etc. Should be fun. Please pray it stays dry till after the event. If it’s raining we’ll move inside but we’re reluctant to do that. Because it’s in the car park please don’t bring cars to the centre unless you have mobility issues, thanks
Christmas morning 10.30 here should be fun. Promise.
On Sunday 26th we have just one service at 11 am. Again, if you are coming to this please would you park offsite. Aldi have agreed terms to let downstairs to another supermarket and they are here to inspect it on Sunday. So it would be really helpful if their car park was clear so we get off to a good footing with them. It’s all with the solicitors at the moment, we are awaiting developments.
The centre is closed next week except for a few bookings
We are looking forward to New Year’s Eve though, 10:30 am for a Crossover service. These are always very special.
If you’re still stuck for that perfect present, have you considered our bookshop? There’s some beautiful bibles and lots of great books to feed the soul
So that just leaves me to wish you a very happy Christmas and may we know Gods peace, joy and blessing in every area of our lives in the coming year
Grace and peace
you may know why I like this manger scene….
