Hiya web, trust you’re having a good week
Still buzzing from the weekend. It was so good to be back in person after missing last Sunday… Sunday was really good, as usual, but Saturday was amazing!
So many families, a good percentage of whom had never been to the church building before all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the day. Many stayed for hours, most for much more than an hour so we were really busy for the full 5 time, only in the last 30 minutes did it seem to tail off, and Sara was still painting faces an hour after we finished.
The Spirit cafe was nicely busy, Karen was gutted not to be there but the team were amazing, ministering love, the Holy Spirit or healing to dozens of people. Best estimates were that each of the games and activities had around 150 participants, double that on each bouncy castle. We welcomed just over 1000 people through the doors and we’ve had so many nice comments on Facebook and messages from different people appreciating the day.
So thank you, thank you for making it known, and for helping make Jesus known through it all. Thank you to those who delivered cards, shared Facebook posts, prayed, and particularly to the 90 volunteers who made the whole thing work. What a great team, what a brilliant event. Thank you.
In other news, it’s not half term this week so the Tuesday 6pm Remix, Wednesday 3.30 homework club and Friday 6.30 & 7.30 youth groups are back. Email shaun@kingsland.org.uk for details. And it’s the last week of Satellites youth festival discount. Looks like they’ll be a really good group of our young people going to this in August. Email Bec@kingsland.org.uk for details….
This Sunday David Campbell is our guest speaker at the 9.15 and 11am services. Really looking forward to his ministry. It’s Messy church the week after, no need to book but you’re welcome to tell Bec you’ll be there
Its likely that by Sunday there’ll be no more restrictions at all. We’ll continue to keep the left hand side as you go into shekinah as a masked area, and socially distanced, and review it again at Easter. Please watch online if you have symptoms, and thank you to those still taking lateral flow tests.
Im away for a couple of days now, with Rosh in Nottingham but hopefully see you at the weekend.
Booking for the men’s conference , walk worthy on 19th March and the prophetic intensive on 7th May is open. Go to https://kingsland.org.uk/get-involved/events/ to book…
Have a great week
Neil
