Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Kingsland Church Colchester to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Kingsland Church Colchester we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Kingsland Church Colchester to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Kingsland Church Colchester will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Kingsland Church Colchester receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

It’s Sunday!!

Welcome! Welcome web, welcome to our services today.

Richard is speaking at the morning services today ‘keeping on track – the part we play in God’s plans for us’. It’s the first Sunday of the month so there’ll be an opportunity to bring an offering as part of our worship. Gordon is doing a short presentation on the persecuted church too.

Tonight at 6.30 Bernie is finishing the series on Jonah. This morning our youth and children’s groups will be meeting in their various groups and the quiet Sensory room will be running again. The cafe will be open after the second service for teas, coffees, cakes and toasted teacakes.

Please pick up the Opportunities leaflet for information about the small groups, courses and activities we run here that help us meet in circles to talk, pray, stretch, minister and learn together.

Connections is happening tomorrow! Monday, at noon in the church for anyone who wants to find out more about partnership (aka membership) with us at Kingsland. Partnership is for anyone who loves Jesus and wants to belong here. RSVP

The donate button on the web site facilitates gifts through Stewardship services and Paypal. Thank you. We make this part of our worship once a month as an opportunity to celebrate last months blessings, like the light a candle event, the meals giveaway, and all the ongoing ministries. Thank you for your giving to the Church, theKingdom and the Lord

We continue to open the Genesis & Joshua rooms to extend shekinah and give extra space for social distancing. We’ve designated one area of the Church for people who prefer to wear a mask throughout. Thank you to those who are taking lateral flow tests. Please wear a mask at least until you are seated, and of course feel free to wear it throughout and bear in mind the need to sanitise and distance wherever possible. We’ll begin the services and the stream on YouTube and Facebook at 9.15, 11 and 6.30. The 6.30 service and Wednesday at 1 are smaller congregations so social distancing is really easy.

have a great Sunday
