Kingsland Church is a Community Centre, a hub for people to meet, hang out or join in. There’s a great café and a host of groups hire our suite of rooms so you are bound to find something attractive. We currently host everything from Alpha to Zumba, including choirs, dance classes, Slimming World, a toddler group and a film club. Kingsland Church provides a quality conferencing venue, conveniently situated with good transport links from Colchester or the A12, Colchester North Station and Central Bus Station. Modern facilities and a great suite of rooms will meet all your conferencing needs for any group between 3 and 400 people.
We cater for small boardroom style meetings, educational classes, workshops, AGM’s or larger conferences. We have full PA and projector facilities, flip charts, sofas, tabling and the like. Refreshments and meals are available from our lovely on-site café or can be served to your room. We are confident there is a room and the facilities at Kingsland Church to meet your requirements.
We have rooms to suit 2-5, 6-20, up to 90 or 400. Each room can be set up in a variety of styles to meet your exact requirements.
Our smallest room, Amos, accommodates up to 4 people and our biggest room, Shekinah, is an auditorium which can seat up to 400 people. Our overall limit is 1000 people. Check out our room hire page for more information.
There is car parking on-site for disabled visitors. We share a car park with Aldi so please ensure that you choose a space in the section for Kingsland Church at the rear of the car park. For special events and Sunday morning services, space can be found nearby.
Yes. Our parking area adjacent to the building is prioritised for disabled visitors. All rooms are located on the first floor and a lift is available at the main entrance. A disabled toilet is also available. Additionally, a hearing loop is fitted in the main auditorium, Shekinah, as well as some of the other rooms. If you have any other needs, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
Costs depend on the size of room, and we also offer a day rate. We can provide a suitable room, coffees on arrival and mid-morning, a simple 2 course lunch with coffees all for £17 per person. A half day rate including 2 drinks and the room hire ranges from £8-£20 per hour depending on the size of the room.
