Calligraphy (from Greek word καλλιγραφία) is a visual art related to writing, perhaps a bit of a dying art form as the digital age moves us to the keyboard and text chat. On Sunday Lid, one of our creative folks from Kingsland, used her love of pens and words to express her worship as she wrote out biblical truths with pen and paper as our spotlight artist during worship.
Why don’t you take up a pen and paper next time you are sitting listening or watching an online service and see what words and doodles begin to flow as you reflect on what you are hearing and express these in writing. It will be a visual demonstration of the things God is teaching you and a you can pin it up on the fridge for the week ahead to encourage you and your household to follow the Lord and live your faith out every day!
